Today my old cat, Trina, finally passed away. She was 19 and had an excellent life. I already miss you. Trina was one of the most gentle, friendly, and calm cats out of the many I’ve had. RIP.

Welp, it’s finally happened. I’ve gotten a hex board.
Game board+ some cheap model spaceships as placeholders if nothing else + stands if I do get miniatures + time and effort = Physical games that I fully intend to show and share on Fuldapocalypse when played. Starting with Starmada.

Eclipse
I indirectly experienced the eclipse today. Didn’t look in its direction but did notice how dark (in this case somewhat) it made the surrounding area.

Actor Louis Gossett Jr has passed away. I knew him best as Chappy in Iron Eagle. RIP.

You might have notice me slowing down. This is because I’m in the final stretch of A Period of Cheating and want to devote more writing energy to working on that. So March may be sparse in terms of content.

2023 In Review
So Fuldapocalypse closes the door on 2023. It was a good year for me if not necessarily for this blog. The best thing I did in 2023 is publish All Union, which was in my head for years. I’m still working on a successor, but first usual writers issues happened, then AI Art (which I love) happened, then Rogue Trader happened. So my dream of getting multiple full length entries in that series out the door didn’t happen.
Oh well. Still had a good year. See you next January!
Just beat Rogue Trader
I’ve just beaten Rogue Trader. Without spoiling anything, I’ll say that it was the best fun I’ve had in an RPG since Fallout New Vegas. A great game. Maybe now I’ll have more time for other things like this blog.
